Restaurateur Neil Slater puts good food, good wine and good people at the heart of his business; and the same can be said for his support of HMRI.
Neil donated ten dining experiences at his popular restaurant, Scratchleys on the Wharf, for HMRI to raise funds at auction through Dining for a Cure.
Each dinner has a high profile Novocastrian host, including Jeff McCloy, The Hon. Jodi McKay, Mark Richards, the Newcastle Knights and Hilton Grugeon.
Since June, Dining for a Cure has raised more than $30,000 for children’s health and medical research.
HMRI extends sincere thanks to Neil Slater for donating each dinner, the table hosts for giving their time and our successful auction bidders.
There are still 4 dinners to auction; register your interest in Dining for a Cure, name the host of your choice and the price you would be prepared to pay by emailing karen.brown@hnehealth.nsw.gov.au
On Monday August 24, Rolly De With and his staff Dined for a Cure with the Newcastle Knights.
